Infinity Unified Commerce is a point-of-sale system for butchers and grocers, fashion and apparel, general retail and gifts and homeware, and 4 more. A New Zealand platform out of Auckland, and the customer list is bigger than the name suggests — Fantastic Furniture, Aquila, CUE Clothing and Caltex have all run on it.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
Infinity is built by Triquestra International, based at 556 Rosebank Road in Auckland. The product runs either as a full unified commerce platform — point of sale joined to e-commerce, order management, inventory, customer records and analytics — or as a standalone till for retailers who only want the counter. That split matters: it means Infinity turns up both in large multi-channel chains and in single stores, and the two deployments look very different.
The reference customers are the reason to take it seriously. CUE Clothing, Aquila, Fantastic Furniture and Caltex have been named as Infinity retailers, and the Australian tea chain T2 picked Triquestra as its unified commerce partner in 2019. That is fashion, footwear, bulky goods and fuel — an unusually broad spread for a mid-sized trans-Tasman vendor, and a sign the platform is built for chains with warehouses behind them rather than for a single shopfront.
Practically, this is enterprise-leaning software. Tyro lists it against retail, entertainment and leisure, hair and beauty and professional services, but the architecture is aimed at operators running stock across multiple sites and channels. If you have one store and one till, it is more system than you need.
