Intrac is a point-of-sale system for retail and sports, built by Intrac Australia. It grew out of a family tennis-centre business, and the till here is the pro shop counter.

Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

Intrac is not a retail POS, and getting that straight matters before you compare it to one. It is a facility management and bookings platform for sports centres, class-based businesses and education, and the point-of-sale piece is the counter inside that — court hire, memberships, canteen, pro shop. Judging it on till speed is judging the wrong thing.

The lineage is unusually specific. John and Anthony started managing tennis facilities in North Sydney in 1980 and moved into multi-sport venues through the nineties; Simon founded Intrac proper in 2000, billed as Australia's first sports-industry-specific SaaS. Education and class-based facilities came on between 2005 and 2010, Jack joined the leadership in 2020, and the platform went through a full redesign across 2024 to 2026.

So the people who wrote it ran the venues first, and that shows up where you would expect — bookings, recurring class billing, member accounts — rather than in stock control. If the pro shop is a real share of your revenue, ask specifically how it handles retail inventory.
