iPOS Cloud (Imagatec) POS — bank compatibility

iPOS Cloud (Imagatec) is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and quick service, built by Imagatec. Brisbane-built, and the only POS here that also runs car washes.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

Imagatec is Australian owned and operated out of Brisbane, with Trevor Turnbull as software architect and Brian Howard-Clarke as managing director. iPOS runs store-based or cloud-based, and the feature list is squarely hospitality: colour-coded floorplans with table and seat management, bar tabs, pay-at-table, docket printing across multiple workstations, a dispatch monitor, drive-thru window support, production statistics and labour rostering.

The product family is the giveaway. Alongside iPOS there is iPizza and iWash for car washes, plus iWarehouse for multi-site data and iOrder for online ordering. A POS vendor with a dedicated car wash product is not chasing the generic café market — they built around specific verticals and stayed in them, which is usually a good sign if you are in one of those verticals and a bad one if you are not.

Named clients back that up: Hogs Breath Café, Pizza Capers, Fasta Pasta, Montezuma's, Magic Hand Carwash, Crystal Carwash and Concierge Car Wash. They claim hundreds of clients. Franchise groups and multi-site operators are clearly the core, and they sell turnkey — hardware, software, installation, training and ongoing support. If you are a single independent café, ask where you would sit in the support queue behind the franchise accounts.
