Jim2 POS — bank compatibility

Jim2 is a point-of-sale system for general retail and retail. A Sydney ERP that has been inside Constellation Software since 2019 — and it is a job and stock system, not a shop till.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
Jim2 Business Engine comes from Happen Business Pty Limited, founded in 2001 in Mortdale in Sydney's south. In February 2019 Jonas Software bought the company, and Jonas is an operating group of Constellation Software — the Toronto-listed serial acquirer that has bought 200-plus software companies and holds them rather than flipping them. If you are on Jim2 and still think of it as an Australian family software house, the ownership chain runs Happen to Jonas Software AUS to Jonas to Constellation on the TSX.
Be careful with how this one is categorised, because it will send you down the wrong path. Jim2 is an ERP built around jobs, stock and workflow, and the business types it names are managed print and office solutions, wholesale distribution, pumping and irrigation, manufacturing and engineering, apparel and workwear, and service businesses. That is a trade counter and a service desk, not a retail shopfront. Customers quoted on its own site are the likes of Windeyer Continuous Hinges, Aldgate Pump Sales & Service, Norweld and Taylors Farm Supplies — which tells you more about the fit than any feature list.
So the payment case is a counter that takes a card against a job or an account, often after the work is done. Tyro certifies it at Power Up tier and tags it for general retail, which undersells what it actually is.

A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
