Kappture POS — bank compatibility

Kappture is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Advance IT. A Derby stadium-payments business that renamed itself out of 'Addvance IT' in 2022 — which is why the directory still has the old name.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

The vendor name on this record needs explaining before anything else. Addvance IT Limited, incorporated 3 February 2011 in Derby, changed its name to Kappture Limited on 31 January 2022. Same company, same registration number, same Derby address. There is no separate 'Advance IT' distributor — it is the vendor's old name, and the directory has not caught up.

Kappture builds connected hospitality technology for high-volume venues: EPOS, payments, ordering, reporting and operations management across stadia and sport, live events and arenas, contract catering, education and retail. The software stack is KapptureCore, KapptureVision, KapptureEngage, KapptureFlow, KappturePulse, KapptureIntegrate and KappturePay, with fixed and mobile POS, kiosks, self-checkouts and kitchen display hardware. It reports 20,000-plus active terminal locations and over 100 million transactions a year, with a development hub in Galway and a commercial team in Paris alongside the Derby HQ.

The venue references are specific and checkable. Croke Park, Ireland's largest stadium, installed Kappture fixed POS in 2018 across 400-plus terminals and upgraded to K1 devices in January 2022 — three engineers, five days — reporting a 67% uplift in transaction volume and a 14% increase in average transaction value. Academy Music Group rolled out 1,150 POS devices across 21 venues in eight months from 2022, 96% of them mobile. Legends Global Europe, formerly ASM Global, selected Kappture in 2021 and installed across its estate in twenty weeks. Ownership sits with Dublin private equity firm Renatus Capital Partners, which took majority control in March 2021.
