Kokipos — bank compatibility

Point-of-sale system by Yade · All point-of-sale systems

  • hospitality

Kokipos is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Yade. Three months old as a brand, and the payments arm was registered two years before the till was.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in July 2026, on Android and Browser.

Yade Pty Ltd is the entity, ABN active from 6 July 2023, main business location QLD 4115. The KOKIPOS business name was only registered on 20 July 2026. KOKIPAY went on in June 2024, two years earlier. That ordering is the single most useful fact here: this is a payments business that built a POS to sell the payments, which is the reverse of the usual sequence and explains the pricing.

Credit where it is due, the pricing is published, which is more than most of this tier manage. Free for one register with unlimited products and orders. Plus at $40 a month per location, up to three registers, adding kitchen display, QR and table ordering, online ordering and reservations. Premium at custom pricing for venues processing $250k and up. All AUD excluding GST, and the site says EFTPOS rates are indicative and confirmed at signup.

Be clear-eyed about the stage it is at. Yade is not GST-registered, which means turnover under the $75,000 threshold. The site publishes no phone number, no email, no address and no entity name -- a web form is the only way in. The testimonials are "Sarah M.", "Daniel R." and "Priya K." with no business names. Nothing on Capterra, GetApp or G2. The product may well be good; there is simply no track record to look at yet.

Connected through

A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
