LS Retail - Navision POS — bank compatibility

Point-of-sale system by ERP WERX · All point-of-sale systems

LS Retail - Navision is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by ERP WERX. Changed hands twice in five years — a US retail group bought it in 2021, Nordic private equity bought it off them in 2025.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Start with the product, because the vendor named on this record is the Australian reseller rather than the maker. LS Retail is Icelandic, headquartered in Reykjavik with offices across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, around 300 staff, and more than 110,000 customer sites in 157 countries. It sells entirely through a channel partner network, which is exactly why you are buying it from an Australian company and not from Iceland.

The ownership has moved twice and most merchants running it would have no idea. Aptos, the US retail technology group, announced the acquisition on 12 January 2021 and completed it on 16 February 2021 — at that point LS Retail was on more than 80,000 sites in over 140 countries. Then in December 2025 Axcel, a Nordic private equity firm with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Frankfurt, bought LS Retail out of Aptos, which was itself owned by funds managed by Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Axcel announced completion on 23 December 2025 and said LS Retail would continue to operate as an independent company. Axcel has nine funds and over EUR 4.8 billion of committed capital behind it, and names earlier software investments in EG, SuperOffice and Progrits.

ERP WERX is the reseller on this record: an LS Retail Gold Partner covering Australia, with offices in Brighton in Melbourne and Mascot in Sydney, and also a Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI partner. The LS Retail partner listing shows LS Central as the line it sells. Two certified consultants are listed against it, which is the realistic measure of local depth — worth weighing against what you are being quoted.
