MAXPOS — bank compatibility
Point-of-sale system by Austech Weighing (Aust) · All point-of-sale systems

MAXPOS is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by Austech Weighing (Aust). A Victorian scale company sits on this record, and the MAXPOS name belongs to someone else's software.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Austech Weighing (Aust) Pty Ltd is an Australian private company with ABN and GST active from 1 December 2003, registered in Victoria. A closely named entity, Austech Weighing Pty Ltd of Amberley Crescent, Dandenong, holds National Measurement Institute pattern approvals for the AUSTECH ECON SR80 and the ECON SR2000: self-indicating, price-computing retail scales to 15kg with sockets for peripheral devices, unit prices to $999.99 a kilo and a price-look-up facility, approved in 1994 and 2001, the second cancelled for new instruments from August 2007. That is deli, butcher and grocer counter equipment, which is the right shape for this record.
The product attribution does not check out, though. No document ties Austech to anything called MAXPOS. What is documented is that MaxPOS is a DIGI product — software combining POS functions with price-computing scale functions for the food industry, with copyright held by Teraoka Seiko of Tokyo. Austech may well distribute DIGI kit in Australia, but nothing published says so, and the two Austech names are not provably the same company either. If you are weighing and selling across the same counter, ask who owns the software and who holds the NMI approval, because they may not be the same party.
