MezaPOS — bank compatibility

MezaPOS is a point-of-sale system for accommodation, hospitality and quick service. Dead since 2019 -- the ABN was cancelled, and the website Tyro still links to is now an Indonesian gambling blog.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

This is the clearest example on this site of a stale directory entry, so take the listing at face value at your peril. Meza Hospitality Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 22 163 921 195, main business location NSW 2077 on Sydney's north, registered 23 May 2013. Its ABN was cancelled on 15 August 2019 and its GST registration the following day. The record has not been touched since. It does not appear in an active-ABN search at all, only in an all-ABN search, which is where dead vendors live.

The domain went with it. mezapp.com -- the site that both Tyro and Cash Register Warehouse still link to -- is now an Indonesian-language online-slot gambling blog, with posts dated September 2026 and heavy unrelated link spam. No company, no About page, nothing POS-related left on it. There is no successor entity on the register, no trade press, no app store listing and no customer to be found anywhere.

And yet Tyro still publishes MezaPOS as a current POS partner, complete with an "Enquire now" form promising a POS expert will respond within four business hours, plus a Bendigo Bank co-branded version of the same page -- seven years after the ABN was cancelled. Cash Register Warehouse still lists the product "In stock" with a free trial and a download link pointing at the gambling site. For the record, what it was while it was alive: a low-cost iPad POS for pubs and restaurants, co-founded by Barry Schutte, with a companion customer app called Meza Connect for browsing the menu and ordering, sold through hardware resellers.
