mvPOS is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by MyVenue. An Adelaide company that quietly took over stadium tills across America after NCR killed off Quest.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud or as mobile POS. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud or as mobile POS. Linkly holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.
MyVenue is a cloud, hardware-agnostic POS built for stadiums, arenas and large event venues — concessions, premium suites, in-seat service, hawking in the crowd, kiosks and an online suite catering portal. It was founded by Tim Stollznow and runs its global headquarters and software development centre from the Bice Building at Lot Fourteen in Adelaide. Take the founding year with a pinch of salt: the company and most coverage say 2020, but InDaily reported 2017 in a 2022 piece.
The reason it grew so fast is specific and worth knowing. In September 2021 NCR named MyVenue its preferred transition partner for the end-of-life NCR Quest stadium products, and NCR's notice went to more than 200 major venues across North America, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The venue count went 80 in January 2024, 95-plus in May 2024, 171 in February 2025 and 190-plus by May 2025. Its homepage now claims more than US$4 billion in sales processed, 30,000-plus POS devices and 2,500-plus suites.
Named venues: Adelaide Oval, with more than 300 terminals, and Suncorp Stadium at home; AT&T Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium, MSG Sphere, Hard Rock Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, Michigan Stadium and the LA Memorial Coliseum abroad, plus 900 trackside terminals at the Miami Grand Prix. Greater Sum Ventures, a Knoxville family office, took a majority stake in May 2025 and bought Tapin2 a year later, pairing the two under one platform.
