New Farm Editions is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Eckoo. one Brisbane bookshop's till, built for it by a local IT firm.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
The mx51 integration uses Spice and was last certified in May 2022, on Windows.
New Farm Editions is a books, gifts and interiors shop at Shop 4, Merthyr Village, 85 Merthyr Road, New Farm, in inner Brisbane. The Urban List calls it a New Farm favourite. It is one store, open six days, and that is the whole footprint of this record.
Eckoo is the company that built the system. ECKOO Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-headquartered technology services group with a "Since 1999" badge on its site — managed IT support, custom software and web app development, business graphic design, SEO, VoIP and NBN telephony, safety and security, Microsoft 365, IT for schools, and LED media and display sales. It has a Melbourne office and locations in Las Vegas, Ho Chi Minh City and Sarajevo, and a payments product called ECKOO Pay.
