Nexa is practice-management software for health and primary health. not practice management at all — a queue and patient flow platform that NSW Health and Service NSW run on.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

Certified for split bills.

NEXA, from Nexa Group Pty Ltd in Bondi Junction, does smart queue management, appointment scheduling, patient flow and service design, plus customer experience consulting. There are no clinical records in it. The product line is NEXA Voice, Mobile Q+, OASIS, E-Concierge, Outcome Form and Alerts, built around a queue management platform called Q-Flow. The company says it has been transforming service delivery for nearly 20 years.

The customer list is the headline, and it is heavily public sector: NSW Health, Human Services, Metro North, Transport and Main Roads, Service NSW, Cumberland City Council, Northern Health and Access Canberra. Sectors named are healthcare, government, education and pathology, with retail and finance suggested as possible fits.

On the payments side, Tyro Health lists NEXA under General Practitioner with integrated purchases, receipts, refunds and split payments, and no lock-in contract, cancellation fee or joining fee. No HealthPoint, Medicare or DVA claiming is listed on that integration — the features are purchase, receipt, refund and split payment. Worth correcting the record: this is a patient-flow and check-in system, so the terminal sits at a hospital or government service counter rather than in a clinic's billing workflow.
