Next Order Point of Sale is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Next Order. A takeaway-first system pitched hard against the delivery marketplaces, and the company is older than its own founding story.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
Next Order sells POS, online ordering, branded ordering sites, driver tracking, kitchen display and loyalty as one login, aimed at pizza, burger, kebab, Indian, Thai, sushi and chicken shops and small multi-store groups. It says plainly it is not built to be a custom project for a single large chain. The commercial pitch is anti-marketplace: it quotes aggregator commissions of 15–35% per order against zero commission on direct channels, and prices from $159 a month billed annually. If an order is not accepted within 15 minutes it phones the store, and support is free and 24/7.
The company says it was established in Melbourne in 2022. The register says otherwise. Next Order Pty Ltd has held an ABN since 7 July 2018, its main business location has been in the Geelong region the whole time rather than Melbourne, and it only registered for GST on 1 July 2025. It describes itself as founder-led and refers to early backers and board members, but names none of them — no founder appears on its site, on Crunchbase or on any aggregator, and no funding round or investor is on record anywhere.
It trades in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. Headcount estimates run 11–50 on Crunchbase and ZoomInfo and 63 on Growjo, with engineering and support people listed in Manila and Bengaluru. Named customers from its own testimonials are Divide 8 Pizza, Hungry Wolf, and Kiyoto Sushi, which runs five branches in the UK.
