NPOS Enterprise Edition POS — bank compatibility

NPOS Enterprise Edition is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Nirvana Intelligent Systems / Nisyst. A Bolton family firm that does exactly one thing — tills for charity shops — and the product name on this record is not one of theirs.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Nirvana Intelligent Systems Ltd, trading as Nisyst, was incorporated on 15 May 1991 and still operates out of Nirvana House in Little Lever, Bolton, run by Bob and Dave Chunilal as managing and technical director. It is not a general POS company. The whole business is charity retail EPoS — the till in a hospice shop or an Oxfam — with a cyber security services line alongside it. Worldpay's partner listing puts it at over 65 charity customers spanning more than 1,000 sites.
The product was CHARiot for decades, including a 'full scan mode' edition, and it is now ChariotWeb after a brand and website refresh in May 2023, when the firm was turning 32. The modules tell you how specific the niche is: a collection and delivery module built in 2016 for donated furniture and white goods, and an October 2018 release pairing an eBay listing link with a single-barcode-scan Gift Aid module built to stand up to an HMRC audit. That is not functionality a normal retail POS has any reason to write.
Two flags on this record. Nothing from Nisyst, Nirvana or the CHARiot line mentions a product called NPOS Enterprise Edition, and searching the two names together turns up only unrelated American products — the real line is CHARiot and ChariotWeb. And there is no acquisition and no outside owner here: the company is still Chunilal-run and active on the UK register, which in this market is genuinely unusual.
