PayFlo POS — bank compatibility

PayFlo is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail. Hospitality-only, and unusually upfront — the monthly software price is on the website instead of behind a sales call.
Certified on both Linkly and mx51, which between them cover most of the acquiring market.
Certified to do tipping, phone and mail order and surcharging.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud. The mx51 integration uses SPI Java or SPI JavaScript and was last certified in February 2025, on Android and Browser. mx51 holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.
Payflo is an Australian hospitality platform that bundles POS, payments and reporting. The feature list is the modern venue set: QR ordering at the table, kitchen display, Xero sync, Uber Eats and Menulog order injection, live sales reporting. Hardware comes as Payflo Pro for the counter and Payflo Go or Go Lite for roaming, with or without a printer, and it runs on iPad, iPhone and Android.
Two things make it easy to assess. First, the pricing is published: a free tier, Starter at $49.95 a month, Pro at $149, and custom enterprise pricing once a venue is over $500k a year. Second, they name venues rather than hiding behind logos — Club Munmorah, Papa Chai, Coffee Rush Carramar, The Grind House, Foodcraft, The Village, Dulce de Leche Cafe and Watergrill. That is cafes, bars and a club, which matches where they say they play: cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars, bottle shops, clubs, cocktail bars and convenience.
The one thing to pin down before signing: Payflo sells payments as well as software, so ask explicitly whether you can keep your own acquirer or whether the price assumes you move to theirs.
