Pharmacy Pro is a point-of-sale system for pharmacy, built by RX One (previously HealthSoft Australia ). The product name was retired in 2016 and the company was bought by a Canadian software roll-up in July 2025 — most pharmacies running it probably know neither.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Pharmacy Pro is what this software used to be called. The vendor rebranded PharmacyPro to RxOne in October 2016, covering the Australian PharmacyPro product and the New Zealand LOTS product in one go. Director Ross Peat pitched it on lower costs, better reporting and simplicity, and the system was described as pharmacist-developed and in use at more than 3,000 sites worldwide — a vendor claim, for what it is worth. MIMS Australia's pharmacy vendor list now carries it as 'RxOne (formerly known as Pharmacy Pro)'. The current product set is Dispense, Retail, Compound Pro and Head Office.
Then the bigger change, and a recent one. Jonas Software's ANZ arm announced on 31 July 2025 that it had completed its acquisition of RxOne, price undisclosed, naming Margie Peat as the founder and crediting the business with more than three decades of history. Jonas said RxOne keeps operating independently with its existing team. Jonas is a vertical-market software acquirer, and this is not its first move in Australian pharmacy: it bought Corum's legacy pharmacy software business from PharmX Technologies (ASX: PHX) in September 2023 for $4.75 million on completion plus $1.26 million deferred, and runs it now as Corum Health.
So the competitive picture a pharmacy owner thinks they are looking at — RxOne against Corum, with Fred IT, Z Software, Minfos and the rest alongside — now has two of those names under one owner. Two loose ends worth knowing: the Australian trading entity still shows as HealthSoft Australia at an Oakleigh address in Victoria, and Jonas's own announcement describes RxOne as a New Zealand business, so exactly which entity changed hands is not spelled out publicly.
