Point 3 v 9 & is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Aniluin. A Queensland POS supplier that reckons it has been at this since the 1970s, now moving out of software and into terminals.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Tyro lists the vendor as Aniluin Pty Ltd with the product Point 3 POS, serving butchers, grocers and supermarkets, general retail, and gifts and homeware, with integrated cashout among the EFTPOS features. The Aniluin name sits on Cashfern Pty Ltd, a Queensland private company with an ABN active since 1 November 1999, carrying the business names Aniluin Distribution from December 2020 and Point of Sale Support from 1999. The trading business is Point of Sale Support at 153 North Rd, Woodridge, south of Brisbane, and its own site says it has supplied POS products to Australian businesses since the 1970s.

The pivot is the current story. That same site now leads with next-generation payments alongside Nexxtap for payment software and Landi Global for Android terminals, and the software page Tyro links to is dead. There is also an Aniluin Holdings Pty Ltd registered in January 2024 in the same postcode as the Woodridge address, though nothing published explains the relationship between the two companies. If you are being offered Point 3, the question is whether the software is still being developed or whether you are being walked across to the terminal side of the business.
