Polygon POS by Redcat is a point-of-sale system for bars and pubs, cafes, hospitality and quick service, and 1 more. A Melbourne company going back to 1992 that quietly runs the tills at Nando's, Boost Juice and Grill'd.

Redcat Pty Ltd has been doing this since 1992, out of Cremorne in inner Melbourne. Polygon is the POS half of what is really a whole hospitality stack — ordering, loyalty, kitchen management, delivery integrations, reporting — and Redcat has always sold it that way rather than as a standalone till. The ownership moved in February 2025, when Melbourne growth equity firm Armitage Associates took a stake. Most Redcat venues have not been told that.

The customer list tells you what it is actually for. Nando's, Boost Juice, Grill'd, Chatime, Schnitz, San Churro, Gong Cha, Noodle Box, PappaRich, Hogs Breath. This is franchise and multi-site software first: hundreds of stores under one brand, one reporting spine, one menu change pushed everywhere at once. If you run a single café, you are not the target customer and the quote will say so.

Tyro has it at Premium tier, the top of its partner ladder, and the integration covers the things that actually matter at a busy counter — split payments, tipping, Pay@Table, integrated refunds and receipts. Worth knowing that Redcat also lists Adyen among its integration partners, so payments is not a one-horse race inside the platform.
