POS Forge is a point-of-sale system for hair and beauty, hospitality and retail. a New Zealand-built cloud till from the Auckland shop behind half a dozen other products.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
POS Forge is made by DataForge Limited, a software and AI consultancy at Hobsonville in Auckland, New Zealand, founded by Dwayne Baird and registered as NZBN 9429052230226. POS Forge is one line in a portfolio that also takes in ForgeBox, DataForge AI, ModusVox, TalentRoom and TapTag, and the company says it serves businesses in both New Zealand and Australia.
As a product it is a cloud POS running on phones, tablets, PCs and kiosks, with AI order correction, a kitchen display, self-serve kiosks and online ordering. Pricing is USD$49 to $159 a month with a 30-day free trial. Being quoted in US dollars for a New Zealand-built product sold into Australia is an odd arrangement and one to factor in — the price you pay moves with the currency, not with your business.
Worth flagging on the data itself: this record and the DataForge record are the same business and the same product. The accreditation register puts the product name in the vendor field, which creates the duplicate. There is no Australian entity, no ABN, no named customer and no review anywhere for it, and no founding date is published.
