POSBOAI POS — bank compatibility

POSBOAI is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Ciphardom. Four months old, and the only website is a staging build with the internal feature flags still showing.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in August 2026, on Android, Browser and iOS.
The entity is Ciphardom Pty Ltd, ABN active from 1 June 2026, GST-registered from 1 July 2026, main business location VIC 3030. The POSBOAI business name went on 5 August 2026. A sibling business name, CALL BOAI, was registered two months earlier on 3 June 2026, which points to a "Boai" product family with something like an AI phone product alongside the till. One unexplained discrepancy: the site footer names "Posboai Pty Ltd", which is not the entity the register shows holding the POSBOAI business name, and the name Ciphardom appears nowhere on the website.
The dev subdomain is not a quirk, it is the entire web presence. Every internal link points at dev.posboai.com and there is no evidence a production site exists. Raw page metadata renders as visible body text, with lines beginning meta-og. Internal feature flags display to visitors as product names -- QR_ORDERING, B2B_CREDIT, UBER_DIRECT. The Pro plan's signup link carries plan=growth, so there is an unfinished rename sitting mid-build. There is no phone number and no email address anywhere on the site.
Pricing is at least published: free for one branch with a light catalog and online ordering, Starter at $49 a month adding the POS itself plus promotions, QR ordering and gift cards, and Pro at $149 adding multi-branch, B2B credit, Xero sync, delivery and marketplace integrations, catering, kiosk and drive-thru. All plans claim AI insights, with a 15-day trial and no card required. But the customer logos and branch list are mockups -- Fresh2chef, Harbour Roast, Meridian Retail, Coastline Provisions, Quay & Co, and branches in Surry Hills, Fitzroy and Fortitude Valley -- none of which could be corroborated, and the page frames them as illustrative. The entity is real and GST-registered. There is no evidence of a single live merchant yet.
