POSPAL iPad is a point-of-sale system for cafes and hospitality. The iPad build of a Xiamen product that claims three million merchants globally and arrived in Oceania only in 2022.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Same company as the Windows product: PosPal Technology Co., Ltd of Xiamen, Fujian, founded in 2010, claiming over three million merchants in more than 180 countries. Southeast Asia came in 2019, then North America, Europe and Oceania in 2022.
The iPad build is the one to look at if you are mobile, counter-light, or running a small footprint where a Windows till is overkill. Tablet POS and payment terminals are a pairing problem rather than a cabling one, so on this variant the integration question carries more weight than it does on a fixed till — check how the terminal pairs, what happens when the tablet sleeps, and which acquirer sits behind it.
