PrimaryClinic is practice-management software for allied health, health, primary health and medical specialists, built by Global Health. One of five products from a Melbourne company that has been ASX-listed and selling health software for 40 years.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
The integration covers HealthPoint private health claiming, Medicare bulk billing, Medicare Easyclaim and multi-merchant. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
PrimaryClinic is practice management software from Global Health Limited (ASX:GLH) — appointment scheduling, billing, patient records and Medicare integration, aimed at medical, allied health and specialist practices. Not a POS. The claiming is the point of it.
Global Health is the interesting part. Founded 1985, based at 696 Bourke Street Melbourne, ASX-listed, and running on about 33 staff. PrimaryClinic is one of five products: MasterCare (clinical and admin for provider organisations, with workflow automation and clinical decision support), ReferralNet (end-to-end encrypted clinical messaging), HotHealth (patient-facing bookings, telehealth and payments) and Lifecard (a personal health record app). ISO 27001:2022 sits across the whole suite.
Two things follow from that. A 33-person listed company spread across five products is thin on each one, so ask who your named support contact is and how many of them there are. And the ReferralNet and HotHealth tie-ins are the real argument for PrimaryClinic over a standalone PMS — secure messaging and online booking come from the same vendor instead of being a third integration you have to manage.
Health claiming at the terminal
Certified through Tyro for Medicare Easyclaim — bulk bill, Medicare Easyclaim — part paid, Medicare Easyclaim — patient paid, Tyro HealthPoint. Tyro is its own acquirer, so claiming through the terminal means banking with Tyro.
Connected through
A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
