Property Management - PM PRO POS — bank compatibility

Property Management - PM PRO is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Amadeus. Not a till at all — it is a hotel front-office system, and Amadeus has owned it since 2015 after selling its way out of the same market five years earlier.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
PM PRO started life as Brilliant PM PRO, from Brilliant Hotelsoftware, a Dutch outfit with subsidiary offices in the US, Canada, UK and Germany and over 3,000 installed systems. Brilliant joined forces with Hotel Concepts in June 2008, the merged company rebranded as iTesso in January 2013, and Amadeus bought iTesso outright on 21 July 2015 — 1,800 properties and about 100 staff, price undisclosed. Amadeus still carries it under its own name on its support pages: 'Amadeus Property Management PM PRO (formerly Brilliant PM PRO)'.
The odd part is that Amadeus had already been in this market and got out of it. In September 2010 it sold its property management division — more than 4,200 clients, mostly Europe and emerging markets — to Infor's SoftBrands subsidiary. Five years later it bought its way back in. Brilliant's niche was chain-affiliated hotels: it was a preferred vendor for Best Western globally and for IHG across EMEA, and PM PRO was positioned for large chainwide rollouts. Amadeus itself was founded in 1987, is headquartered in Madrid and listed on the Spanish exchanges in April 2010; the hospitality arm runs out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire with APAC support from Singapore.
Worth being clear about what this is, because the product type on this record is misleading. A property management system takes payment at the front desk — room charges, folios, deposits — which is why it turns up in an EFTPOS integration list at all. It is not a retail or hospitality point of sale, and if someone is pitching it to you as one, they have brought the wrong product to the meeting.
