Quicken v9.0/ Quickfuel POS — bank compatibility

Quicken v9.0/ Quickfuel is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Quicken (Reckon POS). Two different things jammed into one record — and the brand on your screen went back to Intuit over a decade ago.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Reckon was started in 1987 by Greg Wilkinson, who ran it as CEO until 2006 and is still on the board as founder. From 1994 it published Intuit's QuickBooks in Australia under licence, and for more than 25 years it handled the marketing, distribution and development of the Quicken and QuickBooks lines here. That arrangement is long dead. Reckon told the market in March 2012 that Intuit was taking the names back and launching QuickBooks Online here itself, the share price dropped 10% in a day, and the licence ran out on 10 February 2014. The desktop software carried on under Reckon's own branding as Reckon Accounts.
Reckon listed on the ASX in 1999 and trades as RKN, runs out of North Sydney with 180-odd staff and more than 100,000 businesses on its software. It has spent the last decade trading divisions rather than building them: Document Management was demerged into London-listed GetBusy in 2017, and the Accountants Group — APS and Reckon Elite — went to UK buyer Access Group for A$100 million in 2022. It bought Cashflow Manager and Okke the other way in December 2024 for A$8.75 million. Its current till product is Reckon Cloud POS, which is not this.
The 'Quickfuel' half of this record looks like a separate product altogether — a modular service-station POS doing fuel price changes and cents-per-litre discounting, from a vendor of the same name. Nothing published ties it to Reckon, Quicken or Intuit. Treat the two halves of this entry as unrelated until someone proves otherwise.
