Radiant Systems P400 & P1550 is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by ivida. Georgia-built hardware from a company NCR paid US$1.2 billion for, and that has not existed as a brand since 2011.

Radiant Systems was founded in 1985 and headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, running three segments — Hospitality Americas, Retail and Entertainment Americas, and International — with manufacturing near its Georgia base and in Austria and Australia. It bought Aloha Technologies of Dallas in 2004 for about $45 million in cash, notes and restricted stock, and Adelaide's Quest Retail Technology in January 2008 for A$60.9 million. Orderman in Austria came too.

The P1550 is the counter kiosk in this record: a 15-inch high-brightness touch terminal with an integrated card reader, built on Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with passive cooling and field-replaceable parts, aimed at space-constrained counters. It sat alongside the P1515, P1520 and P1220 in the same family, which Radiant later succeeded with the P1560 and P1760 and their encrypted magnetic stripe readers. We could not verify a Radiant P400 in any source, so take that half of the record as unconfirmed.

NCR announced it was buying Radiant Systems on 11 July 2011 for US$1.2 billion and completed on 24 August 2011. Radiant has not been a brand since. NCR then split on 16 October 2023, with the retail and restaurant business becoming NCR Voyix. Hardware of this generation is well past its support life — if you are still running a P1550, the terminal integration is the least of the reasons to plan a replacement.
