Receptor POS — bank compatibility

Receptor is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by RACT / Alife. RACT is a member-owned motoring club, not a software company — and the product name traces to nothing public.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
The vendor string here is "RACT / Alife". RACT is the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania, established in Hobart in 1923 as the Royal Autocar Club of Tasmania and still a mutual owned by its members, with 230,000-plus of them and group CEO Mark Mugnaioni. The hospitality classification fits RACT's tourism history rather than its motoring side: through RACT Destinations Pty Ltd it held Freycinet Lodge, Cradle Mountain, Strahan Village and Gordon River Cruises, bought from Federal Group and transferred in 2014. It sold that entire portfolio to NRMA in a deal announced on 22 March 2021 and reported at $130 million. Separately it bought Suncorp's 50 per cent of RACT Insurance for $83.75 million, completed in early December 2021, so it now owns the insurer outright.
Be straight about the limits of this record. Nothing public connects anything called "Alife" to RACT — there is no Tasmanian entity of that name on the ABN register, and no hospitality software vendor by that name turns up at all. "Receptor" does not trace to any documented point-of-sale product either. So the vendor half of this record is well evidenced and the product half is not. If you have inherited this system, the useful question is who supports it now, given the venues it would have been bought for changed hands in 2021.
