RepairDesk is a point-of-sale system for general retail and retail. Started in a Lahore office in 2014 because the founder's brother ran a phone repair shop, and now it is in 3,000 of them.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
The integration covers split bills. Tyro rates it a Plus partner.
RepairDesk was founded in 2014 by Usman Butt, out of Lahore, Pakistan — the idea came from helping his brother run a repair shop. It took seed funding in May 2016 from Anant Handa, CEO of Revamp Wholesale, who joined to run product and marketing; at that point the platform had around 900 registered clients and a team of nine. It now reports over 3,000 repair shops and more than 3,150 paying customers worldwide, and holds a 4.7 on Capterra and 4.9 on Trustpilot.
It is a repair-shop system first and a till second, and that is the point of it. Repair job tracking, ticketing, parts inventory, customer comms, staff oversight and analytics, built for phone and computer repair but sold into camera, bike, jewellery and watch, drone, power tool, small engine and heavy-duty repair too. If you run a repair business, a general retail POS will not do the job ticket workflow, which is why people end up here.
On payments the Tyro certification is reasonable for retail: integrated purchases, receipts, refunds and split payments. Refunds in the integration matter more than usual in repair — deposits, quotes that get declined, parts that come back — so that one is worth having.

A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
