Retail Anywhere POS is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by NetSuite. A 1980s Californian grocery till that NetSuite bought in 2013, Oracle inherited, and is now winding down.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Retail Anywhere was an independent American POS company, previously trading as AIM Systems, based at Atascadero and later Paso Robles in California. By 2006 it had about 30,000 POS terminals installed across North America and 25 years behind it in grocery, liquor and high-volume retail. NetSuite announced the acquisition on 10 January 2013; terms were never disclosed. Roughly 6,000 customers came with the deal, along with CEO Branden Jenkins, who became NetSuite's general manager of eTail and retail products. NetSuite's own CEO said at the time that the legacy licensed software was essentially in maintenance mode.
Then Oracle bought the parent. The offer for NetSuite was announced on 28 July 2016 at about US$9.3 billion and closed on 7 November 2016. Oracle NetSuite still documents NetSuite Point of Sale and SuiteCommerce InStore, but implementation partners say both are being retired, with an end-of-life of January 2029 cited and one partner noting only a handful of customers were ever on them. If you are running this, the question that matters is not which bank it reaches but when you are moving off it.
Connected through
A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
