Retail Pro — v8, v9 and the newer Prism — is the platform; Heritage IT is the dealer, installer and support line. Tyro lists its Retail Pro integration under general retail and hair and beauty, covering integrated purchases, receipts, refunds and split payments.
The reason the dealer matters more than usual here: Retail Pro is a long-running American retail platform with no native path to an Australian payment terminal, so the EFTPOS side is the local dealer's problem, not the US vendor's. Which dealer you buy through decides what the integration actually does and who answers the phone when it stops. Ask about the payment layer specifically, by name, before you sign.
