ROLLER is a point-of-sale system for cafes, hospitality and quick service. The company behind it is Roller Networks Pty Ltd. Two Melbourne brothers started it, $110m went in, and the head office is now in Austin, Texas.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

It handles split bills. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

ROLLER is venue management software for the attractions trade — trampoline parks, family entertainment centres, bowling, climbing gyms, zoos and aquariums. Luke Finn (CEO) and his brother Mark (CFO) founded it in Melbourne. The founding year is disputed by the company's own sources: ROLLER's current company-facts page says 2010, Business News Australia reported 2011. POS is one piece of a wider platform that also does online ticketing, waivers, memberships and payments.

The money needs reading carefully, because two different numbers circulate. ROLLER's own company-facts page puts total funding at $110m — $3m seed before 2017, a $7m Series B from Boston's Acadian Software in 2018, $50m led by Insight Partners in 2023, and $50m from Insight and J.P. Morgan in 2025. The $28.2m deal announced in December 2022 is not in that total and should not be added to it: $18.2m of it cashed out early investors and $10m was a credit line from Partners For Growth, so it was liquidity and debt rather than new capital for the business. Venue count was 1,200 across 25 countries at that point and is 3,500+ now.

The part an Australian operator should register: the head office is now Austin, Texas. Offices remain in Australia, the UK and Costa Rica, but this is no longer a Melbourne company with a Melbourne centre of gravity, and the customer base is global. If local support hours matter to you, ask where your account manager actually sits before you sign.
