SAAS Medical Systems is practice-management software for allied health, health, primary health and medical specialists. One system, two front ends — a browser app and a Windows app hitting the same Azure-hosted practice.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
It handles HealthPoint private health claiming, Medicare bulk billing, Medicare Easyclaim and multi-merchant. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
SAAS Medical Systems is an Australian cloud practice management system for clinics, GPs, specialists, allied health and ancillary providers. The design choice they lead with is "One System - Dual Interface": SAAS Web runs in a browser, SAAS Desktop is a Windows application, and both connect to the same practice system hosted on Microsoft Azure. That matters in practice — reception can sit on the desktop app while a practitioner works from a browser off-site, without buying a second product.
The clinical and claiming side is complete: patient records, billing, prescribing with MIMS drug alerts and eRx, pathology ordering and results, appointments, recalls and reminders, and letters. The Tyro integration carries the full Medicare Easyclaim set — bulk bill, part paid and patient paid — plus Tyro HealthPoint, multi-merchant, and integrated purchases, receipts and refunds. Multi-merchant is the one to flag if you have several practitioners billing under their own merchant facilities.
What they do not publish is anything about themselves: no founding year, no head office, no practice count, no pricing. The footer reads © 2016–2026, so the product has been going at least a decade. Health claiming at the terminal
Certified through Tyro for Medicare Easyclaim — bulk bill, Medicare Easyclaim — part paid, Medicare Easyclaim — patient paid, Tyro HealthPoint. Tyro is its own acquirer, so claiming through the terminal means banking with Tyro.
