School 24 Canteen POS is a point-of-sale system for services. School canteens and uniform shops only, and it has been doing them since 2008.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Tyro lists the company as School 24, at school24.net.au. The legal entity behind the brand only surfaces on its iOS listing, where the App Store seller is Edimensions Pty Ltd. Its own site says it has supported Australian schools since 2008, claims hundreds of schools across Australia and the UK and more than 10 million orders processed, and runs Australian-based support on a Sydney number. The product set is canteen and tuckshop ordering, uniform shop, events and fundraisers, volunteer rostering, a self-serve kiosk, a kitchen display and a POS built specifically for school environments.
It is unusually easy to verify, because the schools publish their own instructions. Freshwater State School and Agnes Water State School in Queensland, Curl Curl North Public School in NSW and St Joseph's Rockdale under Sydney Catholic Schools all document running it. Two caveats: the site dates itself inconsistently, saying since 2008 in one place and over 18 years in another, and no founder, exact school count or ownership history is published anywhere. On the Tyro side the integration covers purchases and refunds — no cashout, which for a canteen is academic.
