ShopMaster POS — bank compatibility

Point-of-sale system by @Master · All point-of-sale systems

  • hair and beauty

ShopMaster is a point-of-sale system for hair and beauty, built by @Master. Ringwood-built salon software that has done hair and beauty since 2000 and nothing else.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

The integration covers phone and mail order and surcharging.

The mx51 integration uses Spice and was last certified in November 2024, on Windows.

@Master has sold salon management software into Australia and New Zealand since 2000, out of Ringwood in Melbourne's east. ShopMaster is the flagship — appointment booking, stock control, operator and sales reporting, SMS reminders, Google Reviews prompts, marketing — and ShopMaster Point of Sale is the checkout and payment half of it.

Around it sits SMConnector, which adds online bookings, automated reminders and confirmations, review prompts and client self check-in, and Web HQ for multi-site operators who want live reporting and appointment forecasting across locations from a PC, tablet or phone. There is also an @MasterPAY item in the navigation, so the vendor has a payments line of its own.

No ownership detail is published. The YouTube handle points at a Master Software Global Pty Ltd entity. Twenty-five years in a single vertical with no acquisition announcements is itself the story on this one.
