SLIKR Checkout POS — bank compatibility

SLIKR Checkout is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by SLIKR. Started as a queue rather than a till — you joined a barber's line from your phone instead of booking a time slot.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
Founded by Duane Thompson, who ran a management consultancy, with the MVP launched in March 2016 and two angel investors behind it. The idea was predictive queues: instead of holding a fixed appointment, the app estimated when a barber would actually be free and let you join the line from wherever you were. Customers paid 75 cents to queue and paid for the haircut in store.
Most of the early shops were in Queensland with a couple in Melbourne and Perth, and an Irish launch was in its final stages as of April 2017. The checkout came after the queue, which is the thing to understand if you are comparing this against a full salon POS — the booking flow is the product and the payment is attached to it.
