Run by brothers Craig and Darren Cookesley, Solemate is built for footwear and fashion retail specifically, and the data model gives it away: stock is tracked by size, colour and width, stock in transit is visible across stores in real time, and the reporting cuts ROI and valuation by style, brand, season, store, supplier and department. It was originally designed in 1991 and has been developed continuously since. Zeller's partner listing calls it "Australia's leading fashion/footwear retail software".

They write to order rather than shipping one build to everyone, and the range of client runs from a single store up to 50-store chains. Support is 24/7 by phone with on-site installation and training anywhere in Australia, which is an old-fashioned way to sell software and part of the pitch. It talks to accounting packages and has APIs out to Shopify and Magento. Suna Shoes, a seven-store Queensland footwear chain with an online store, is a named customer and had been on it about a decade by 2018.
