Solemate POS — bank compatibility

Solemate is a point-of-sale system for retail. which does not trade under that name any more — it is StyleMatrix now.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

The integration covers cash out.

The mx51 integration uses SPI .NET and was last certified in April 2019, on Windows.

SoleMate Software spent more than 30 years selling on-premise inventory systems to footwear, fashion and apparel retailers and wholesalers. In early 2025 it rebranded as StyleMatrix and moved onto a cloud platform. solemate.com.au now redirects straight to stylematrix.io, so the old name is a pointer rather than a product.

StyleMatrix sells itself as AI inventory management for fashion, footwear and apparel: stock visibility across stores, ecommerce and wholesale, demand forecasting, stocktaking and ordering, with uniform and workwear retailers and wholesalers named as use cases. Offices in Melbourne and Edgecliff in Sydney, with support and development listed across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and the footer describes the company as Australian owned. Craig Cookesley is named as founder. Client logos on the site include Blondies, Shouz and Wild Rhino.

The practical upshot: if someone is quoting you "Solemate" in 2026, ask which thing you are actually buying — the old on-premise system or the cloud platform — and which of the two the certification on record covers.
