Sterland Computing POS — bank compatibility

Sterland Computing is a point-of-sale system for retail. The till is almost an afterthought here — this is a timber and building-supplies ERP with a trade counter bolted on.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
It started in a timber yard. The system was conceived by the founder of Sterland Brothers Timber Supplies, and Sterland Computing was formed later to sell it to other merchants. It shipped first as ProStix, then STIX, and is now Open Edge Frameworks — sales, point of sale, inventory and margin management, financials, customer enquiries and e-commerce running out of one application, with SalesRep Assistant and a PDA add-on extending it to the yard.
The install base is bigger than the company's profile suggests: over 4,700 users across 500 sites and 100 organisations in Australia and New Zealand, with MITRE 10, Plumbtec and HBT named as partners. The niche is timber, plumbing and building supplies, and that shapes everything — a trade counter cares about landed costs, account customers and margin by line, not table turns or split bills. Judge it against the other building-supplies systems, not against a cafe POS.
