StoreConnect is unusual: rather than being a POS that syncs with a CRM, it is built natively on Salesforce, so the store, the online shop, subscriptions, inventory, bookings and rewards all sit on the same customer record. Founder and CEO Mikel Lindsaar calls it "customer commerce" and describes himself as a serial SaaS founder who has built and sold four companies in a decade; he is also a Salesforce Partner Innovation Award recipient.

In August 2023 the company raised a US$9 million seed round led by Bellini Capital, the Tampa investment firm run by Arnie Bellini — co-founder and former CEO of ConnectWise, which is about as credible as endorsements get in channel software. The release was issued out of Sydney, and the money was earmarked partly for expanding its network of Salesforce solution integration partners, which had passed 60 within two years. The company's registered base is now San Francisco.

Who it suits: businesses already committed to Salesforce that do not want to bolt a separate commerce platform onto it. If you are not a Salesforce shop, this is almost certainly the wrong tool — you would be buying the ecosystem, not just the till.
