TipSite Manager and TipSite Portable is weighbridge software for professional services, built by TipSite Systems. Not a retail till at all — this one runs weighbridges and council tips.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
TipSite Systems Pty Ltd is a Sydney outfit, on a western-Sydney landline, that does exactly one thing: software and hardware for weighbridges, landfills and waste transfer stations. If you landed here expecting a shop counter, this is the wrong page. TipSite Manager runs the gatehouse at a tip; TipSite Portable is the handheld version for sites that do not have one.
The customer base is local government and industry. The company publishes 24 case studies, among them Bathurst Regional Council and Hawkesbury City Council on the council side and Qenos and AusScrap on the commercial side. It sells the hardware as well as the software — card readers, boom gates, traffic-light bollards, surveillance and portable data terminals — and the system is modular, with modules available on trial before purchase, which is a sales model you only build when the buyer is a procurement department.
The payments angle here is genuinely different from retail. Taking a card at a weighbridge means outdoors, often semi-attended, usually a single lane with a truck queue behind it. Terminal choice and connectivity matter more on a site like this than anything else in the quote.
