TS (Tower Systems) PAY - Embedded Payment (Android) is not a point-of-sale system — it is the payment connector that joins a point-of-sale system to the terminal, through Tyro. Not a POS at all — it is the embedded payment module that lets Tower Systems' Retailer software drive a Tyro terminal on Android.

Worth being clear about what this is, because the directories list it alongside the tills: you do not buy this instead of a point-of-sale system, you buy it to connect one you already have.

TS PAY is a payment connector, not a point of sale. It is the piece that sits between Tower Systems' Retailer software and a Tyro EFTPOS terminal so the sale amount flows straight from the till to the card machine, and refunds come back the same way. Integrated purchases and integrated refunds are the two functions. The "embedded payment (Android)" part means it runs inside Tower's Android-based software rather than as a separate Windows service on the counter PC.

That distinction matters because Tower's older integration path is different. Historically Retailer connected to terminals through Linkly on-premise, formerly PC-EFTPOS, installed on every counter PC with a pinpad attached by USB, configured through an ActiveX integration and paired one terminal to one machine. The embedded Android route removes that layer. If you are weighing them up, the practical questions are how many lanes you run, whether your Retailer install is local or cloud, and how settlement is handled.

The vendor behind it is Tower Systems International (Aust), the Australian specialty retail software company whose customers are newsagents, bookshops, jewellers, garden centres, bike shops, toy shops, pet shops and charity op shops. Tower is now part of Vela APX, an operating group of Toronto-listed Constellation Software — the same group that owns Surefire, ACR, Independent Solutions, AdvanceRetail and Apparel21.
