VenueSumo POS is a point-of-sale system for services, built by VenueSumo. Launched October 2023 and selling into America by April 2024 — trampoline parks, not cafes.

Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

The integration covers split bills. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

VenueSumo is a Melbourne-born venue management platform for the leisure, attractions and tourism trade, and it went live in October 2023. Six months later it was live with its first US customers. It now runs offices in Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Salt Lake City and Bristol, with Brett Melville as managing director and Dale May as CTO.

What it is built for is not hospitality, whatever the industry tags say. Trampoline parks, indoor play centres, escape rooms, bowling, mini-golf, aquariums, zoos, museums — twenty-odd venue types where the revenue is in ticketing and online bookings and the POS is the front desk and the cafe bolted to it. Early named clients are Flip Out Australia and Belgravia Group's Ninja Parc division.

Being this young cuts both ways. The feature set was designed around attractions from scratch instead of retrofitted onto a restaurant till, which is genuinely rare in this market. But the reference base is still shallow, so insist on a site your size and your venue type — not a demo.
