VitaPOS is a point-of-sale system for health and retail, built by Corum Health. The pharmacy software arm that ASX-listed Corum Group sold off for $6.25 million in 2023, then renamed itself after what was left.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Corum Health is the pharmacy software business, and its ownership story is unusually clean to follow. Corum Group, listed on the ASX, ran both a pharmacy software arm and the PharmX electronic ordering gateway that sits between pharmacies and wholesalers. In July 2023 it sold the software business — the Corum Clear, LOTS Dispense and Amfac Windows Dispense brands — to Jonas Software for $6.25 million, keeping PharmX and the PharmXchange sales and marketing system. The listed company then rebranded itself PharmX.
Jonas is part of Constellation Software, the Toronto-listed group that buys and holds vertical software companies. So the dispensary and retail systems in a lot of Australian pharmacies now sit in the same Canadian portfolio as Impos in hospitality and Kitomba in salons.
One thing to check before you shop for a terminal: Corum Health's current retail lineup is sold as Corum LOTS POS, alongside Corum Pay, Corum Clear Pharmascan and Corum Integrated Eftpos. VitaPOS does not appear in that lineup today. If you are running it, confirm with Corum which supported product you are actually on before you commit to an EFTPOS arrangement around it.
