Wastedge Weightbridge Module — weighbridge and bank compatibility
Weighbridge software by AMCS Group · All point-of-sale systems

Wastedge Weightbridge Module is weighbridge software for retail, built by AMCS Group. This is the gatehouse, not the shop counter — and the Australian company that wrote it was bought by Ireland's AMCS back in 2016.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Wastedge is cloud software for waste operators, and the weighbridge module is the part that sits at the gate: a truck crosses the bridge, the system works the charge out of the weight and the waste type, and the terminal takes the money from the casual tip customer without anyone keying an amount. That's a very different job from a retail till, and it is why the integration matters more here than the features list.
The software came out of Australian Software Professionals, an Australian team with more than 25 years in waste technology consulting and support, led by Terry Daley. AMCS Group agreed to buy ASP and the Wastedge business in December 2016, and at the time the combined business served more than 100 customers across Australia and New Zealand.
AMCS has kept buying here since. In April 2025 it acquired Mandalay Technologies, the Queensland firm whose software runs weighbridges and waste facilities for councils and transfer stations — so two of the better-known Australian names in this corner of the market now sit under the same Irish parent.
