Webkul Odoo is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by Webkul Software. A 500-person Indian module house that sells a US$499 Odoo add-on built specifically to drive Linkly terminals.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
Webkul Software Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on 26 August 2010, operating from Noida with a second Indian office in Lucknow and a registered United States address in Wilmington, Delaware. Founder Vipin Sahu dates the start of the work to 2009, shortly after college, with a college friend as business partner. It is bootstrapped — no funding rounds or investors on record, and its own site calls it one of the few 100 per cent self-bootstrapped organisations. The independently filed numbers are 508 staff on EPFO records as at 31 March 2024 and revenue of ₹49.37 crore for the year to March 2025. It is both an Odoo Silver Partner and one of the largest third-party publishers on the Odoo app store, with 1,085 modules listed under its name, and it publishes the open-source Bagisto, UVdesk, QloApps, Krayin and UnoPim projects. It appeared in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 India five years running from 2015 to 2019, ranked ninth in 2015.
The Australian angle is specific and worth knowing. Webkul sells an Odoo POS Linkly/EFTPOS payment terminal integration at US$499 that pushes the purchase amount from Odoo POS to the Linkly terminal so staff do not key it in, supports tap and NFC, processes refunds through the terminal, logs every transaction in the Odoo backend and shows "Linkly EFTPOS" as the receipt payment method. It requires a Linkly account. There is a companion module at US$249 for taking terminal payments against Odoo invoices in bulk, and an Australia Post shipping module. Three things to weigh: Webkul states that Linkly has approved it as an official POS vendor, but that is not confirmed on Linkly's side, so treat it as a vendor claim; the Linkly module carries no reviews and no published install count on either store; and Webkul is a module publisher, not the author of Odoo POS itself, which is Odoo's product. It has no Australian office, though it publishes a long list of named Australian clients including STIHL, Forever New and Calabria Wines.
