WinSTORE is a point-of-sale system for general retail and retail. Portil Solutions is in behind it, more than twenty years at it, and they build the online store as well as the till.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Certified to do split bills and cash out. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
WinSTORE is the POS, inventory control and retail management system from Portil Solutions Pty Ltd, selling to retailers in Australia and New Zealand. Portil says it has more than twenty years of experience, and it does both halves of a modern retail setup: WinSTORE at the counter, and open-source ecommerce stores — from a single product up to a large catalogue — that can integrate back to the POS.
WinSTORE can run paperless and can be configured for warehouse or wholesale operations, which is the useful detail if you are not purely a shopfront. Portil also does website design and development, training and technical support, so for a small retailer it is one supplier for the till and the online store rather than two vendors blaming each other when stock counts drift. That consolidation is worth real money in practice.
The Tyro certification covers a solid retail set — purchases, receipts, refunds, cash out and split payments. Cash out is the one worth noting, because it is not universal and it matters in suburban and regional retail where the shop ends up being the local ATM. Beyond their own site there is very little independent information on the company: no published founding date, customer count or team. Ask for reference sites and how long they have been running.

A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
