Xpect POS — bank compatibility

Xpect is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by CIBIS. A Newcastle software house whose day job is local councils, not retail counters.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
CIBIS works out of Lambton in Newcastle, NSW. It builds custom business software, web and mobile applications, cloud hosting and governance, risk and compliance work, plus a set of productised tools it customises per client — Xpect is one of its own. The pitch is a practical, no-nonsense approach and low total cost of ownership rather than anything flashy.
The customer base tells you what it actually is. More than 60 local governments use CIBIS software, and it has been in the higher education sector for over 25 years. Named clients include Cessnock City Council for food premise inspections, Wollondilly Shire Council for its NSW planning portal integration, and mortgage investment manager RMBL for client onboarding. So the payment point here is a council or institutional one — inspection fees, permits, charges at a counter that is not a shop.
