Yumapos is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Yumasoft. an Australian-facing front end on a development house that has been building other companies' POS since 2003.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in May 2026, on Android and Windows.

YumaPOS Australia sells hospitality and retail point of sale on flat monthly software pricing with no commission on online orders, from a by-appointment office in Perth, with landing pages for every state and territory. The venue types it targets are cafes, restaurants and bars, quick service and food trucks, retail and online stores, sporting and recreation centres, nightclubs, and multi-venue or franchise groups.

Behind it is Yumasoft, and Yumasoft's actual business is building POS software for other companies. It has offered custom POS development since 2003 — whole systems from scratch, plus loyalty, inventory and employee modules, kitchen and delivery apps, and outsourced engineers, testers and project managers. Its main technology centres are St Petersburg and Minsk, with offices in New York and Pune. The clients it names are vendors rather than venues: NEC Corporation, IT Retail Inc., LiveTable GmbH and Goldmine World.

That is the thing to know before you sign. The product is real and the Australian site is real, but the engineering is offshore and the same team's day job is white-labelling POS for other brands. No ownership detail is published, and no count of Australian venues running it.
