Z POS is a point-of-sale system for pharmacy retail and retail, built by Z Software. A pharmacist and two software engineers rebuilt the whole pharmacy stack, and this is the counter end of it.
Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

Z Software Pty Ltd started with a product called DispenseIT and grew it into a full pharmacy stack: Z Dispense in the dispensary, Z Office for management, Z Register on the counter, plus Z Freedom, Z Pocket and Z Pay. The founding story is a pharmacist frustrated with outdated systems teaming up with two software engineers. Support runs out of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, and the customers are independent pharmacies and pharmacy groups across Australia.
The commercial pitch is a direct swipe at the incumbents: simplified pricing, no long-term contracts, no hidden fees and no forced hardware upgrades. Note also where Tyro files them — under Tyro Health as a practice management partner, not in the general POS partner directory. That tells you how the claiming end of the relationship is treated, and it is worth confirming with them which claiming paths are live on your configuration.
