What Westpac doesn't publish

  • Any merchant service fee schedule by card type, or what makes a merchant eligible for its advertised rate.
  • American Express and JCB rates — separate agreements, set by Amex.
  • Which hardware sits inside any of its terminals. Westpac has named Verifone once, in a 2022 media release, with no model attached.

What you'll actually pay

We don't publish merchant service rates, because they're negotiated on your volume and card mix — a rate quoted on a website is somebody else's deal, not yours.Send us three months of statementsand we'll tell you what yours should be.

Figures checked 3 October 2026, and re-checked quarterly.
