Westpac

- Sydney, NSW, Australia
Australia's oldest bank and second largest by assets, acquiring directly with the EFTPOS Air, Now and Flex range plus the PayWay gateway.
About Westpac
Founded in 1817 as the Bank of New South Wales and renamed Westpac in May 1982, it holds A$1,192.15 billion in total residents’ assets on APRA’s July 2026 statistics, and reported A$1,172,583 million in group total assets at 31 March 2026.
Westpac acquires directly — no third-party acquirer is named anywhere in its merchant proposition — and the stack is entirely own-branded: EFTPOS Air for phone and tablet, EFTPOS Now with Presto for portable, EFTPOS Flex for fixed and self-service, and PayWay for online, recurring and batch payments.
Presto is its integrated terminal-and-POS layer, quoted on Westpac’s own page at 130+ point-of-sale integrations, a $24.75 monthly terminal fee and a flat 1.2% rate across Visa, Mastercard, eftpos and UnionPay.
